LG provides sheets and rolls of felt in two types: Rayon Carbon/Graphite (RGF/RCF) and PAN Carbon/Graphite (PGF/PCF).
Rayon felt is used for applications such as high-vacuum furnaces for processes at temperatures above 1200°C. During these processes, our felt emits negligible amounts of gas. The graphite-based variant is oxidation-resistant and purer, while the carbon-based variant is more cost-effective.
PGF and PCF serve as a more economical alternative to Rayon-based felts while maintaining high insulating properties up to 3000°C.
Properties:
- High thermal insulation;
- Low expansion;
- High thermal resistance up to 3000°C.
Applications:
- Insulation for high-vacuum and high-temperature furnaces;
- Heat treatment.
